Together We Can Campaign

Philip Gowan Director with 20+ years HR & Change Management

The Business Case

“This is a priority for your business – with research showing that 20% of your team could be affected by some form of domestic abuse. Impacting productivity, morale and absenteeism.

You do not need to become a counsellor or become involved in the domestic matters of your staff.Your duty of care is to be aware, respond and give reasonable support.

This campaign in partnership with the Charity Willows 301 is designed to work together with businesses to achieve this.”

Emma Haselton CEO of Domestic Abuse Charity, Willows 301

There are literally millions of reasons why your duty of care matters

There are 34 million people in the UK workforce – this means upto 7 million people have been, are currently or will be at risk in the future of domestic abuse.

For businesses employing 50 people or less (5.5 million) and unlikely to have HR resources means over ONE MILLION staff.

Together we can – with us supplying help and advice, you by raising awareness with your staff promoting our pratical and educational guides. It is a  hard to imagine that your workplace may be the only safe place a member of staff has.

Campaign Mission - Awareness and Education

Our campaign is focused on awareness and education – especially for buisinesses who do not have the benefit of in-house resources such as HR etc. Therefore our solutions are designed to be pragamtic and effective.

Just downloading a policy is a worthy task – but means nothing if not followed through. The business is still at risk of lower productivity as are your staff of injury, both to their mental health and physically.
